About Professor Wojcik

My name is Jillian Wojcik, and I'm an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Broward College Online - Florida's Global Campus. I earned my BA from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, and my MA in Counseling from the University of Central Florida, as well as additional graduate coursework in Psychology from Western New Mexico University. I am currently pursuing my PhD from Florida Atlantic University.

 

I worked as a counselor before I started teaching psychology. I am especially passionate about teaching online; I've been teaching fully online for over four years. In 2010, I completed a graduate certificate in Online Teaching and Learning from the University of Florida. I strive to make the online classroom a welcoming and engaging environment, and my students know that I am available to help in any way that I can. 

 

On a personal note, I'm originally from Wisconsin but have been living in Florida since 2004. I love the warm weather too much, so I don't see myself going back! I love to travel, watch college football, and I'm working on becoming an endurance runner. My greatest joy is spending time with my husband and daughter.
